Worried for childminder...

This maybe considered an odd post but I have been using the most fantastic childminder since sept last year. She had returned to childminding after a break of 15 years where she had been working in other child related fields. DD is her only mindee, and I am worried because she has not yet attracted more business she may decide its not worth it. I have recommended her to all I know, and left flyers with my daughters school as well as writing her a great review on childcare site. Am I just being silly worrying, does it usually take this long to build up business? Dont get me wrong I love the one to one relationship she has with DD but I am just feeling a bit sorry for her.

It seems you're doing all you can and it's very kind of you to do so much for this woman.

In most areas, good childminders are a much-sought-after commodity so just keep spreading the good word and all will be well, hopefully.

Does she want any other mindees?
I will lose a mindee before Sept as they will start school nursery in another village 4 miles away.
I have another mindee, but I am not bothered about replacing her. But then I do have some after school.

How otften does she have your daughter?

Have you asked her if she wants other mindees?

Sorry, yes she def does want more but no more than 3. However there is another little girl starting this week she told me yesterday so I am really chuffed for her. I got worried because she had had a bit if interest but no takers, this family I think kept her waiting a while which is why she thought they weren't interested. Thanks for replies!
