Leaving present for childminder

My little girl finishes with her fabulous childminder this week (Feel so sad about it!) and I want to buy something to show her how much we appreciate her. I've left it late as we've just had a new baby. Any ideas of something we can buy or make in two days? Thanks

Definitely make a card, always nice to use the child's hand/footprints and write in it how sad you are and how great she's been, maybe have your daughter write her name if she's able. Saltdough is great because it's made with things in the cupboard and oven baked, ornaments, decorations, pendants? Maybe a little vase and paper flowers? Or bake a cake and have your daughter help decorate it. Just a few ideas xxx

Thank you. Feeling so emotional about it and I know our childminder is too. Will definitely make a card.

I got this little figurine and a large bunch of flowers when Dd1 left our wonderful childminder after Dd2 was born.

Thanks for suggestions. We've made a handprint card this morning and drawn a picture for her daughter who plays with dd. Think we'll plant some tulips in a pot so that they can be a permanent reminder each spring of dd. Off to the garden centre we go!!
