Help! Dd has fantastic key workers at nursery and I'd like to get them something more than the standard box of chocolates/tin of biscuits for Christmas but im stuck for ideas... What presents have you received/ would you like to receive from parents?

I put on so much weight working in a nursery with parents buying chocolates, I think some nice hand creams that staff can use after nappy changing would be usefull or mugs and decent coffee, tea and hot chocolate for the staff room.

argos voucher - wide range of stuff u can buy from there, which should suit everyone!

I don't like chocolates but I haven't the heart to tell anyone! They end up being given to the school fayre so as not to be wasted. I love flowers, plants and candles, but as everyone is different, vouchers may be the safest option.

I agree with miderjinx, as everyone is different, a voucher may be the safest bet. I like to get chocs, but preferably not fancy ones, I like flowers too. The best thoughtful gift I have been given was a little handbag sized mirror. I still carry it 10 years later.

Amazon voucher would be nice, I liked getting normal chocolates not expensive fancy ones. Or flowers or something the child had made like Christmas cookies.
