Is there somewhere online I can read her inspection report ? I've tried the OFSTED site, but it only gives the registration number and not the name/address (I don't know hers). TIA

if you have her post code then search by post code and hers should be the first one in the list I think

Ofsted reports for childminders are only listed by our registration numbers, the only thing you can do is put in for reports within a certain mileage of her postcode & see if you think hers comes up. A word of warning though not all childminder reports are listed yet as not all of us have been inspected under the current round of inspections & it is only those that are published. If you want to see a childminders particular report you need to ask her for it when you go to visit her/him. I have been minding for over 11 years, had a good inpsection report last time, but have not yet been inspected in this round, although my details come up on the Ofsted site it is only for variations to my registration that have occured since April 2005. I am now overdue an inspection btw.

I don't know the 2nd half of her postcode. Bum. I'll just have to ask her about them, I suppose.

hi i'm a childminder and when you go round to see her she will show you her report or you can ask to see it, my report is in the paernets info files and every parent must be able to see the report

I am a childminder too and I have my ofsted reports in my portfolio along with all of my policies etc so that all prospective parents can read them and any good childminder will make their report/ available to you without you having to ask to see it.

I have my Ofsted report in my portfolio aswell because if I was ever looking for childcare it is one of the things I would want to read.

I read the preschool and school ones before my dd started at them.
