Friends for my new au pair

Just wondering if anyone out there has an au pair who might want to make a new friend. Our au pair arrived this week and she is a really lovely girl but doesn't know anyone locally to us. I have had a think, but honestly have no idea about how she could make friends outside of her English classes (which she hasn't started yet).

So is there anyone out there within a reasonable distence of Guildford with an au pair who would like to make a new friend? Au pair is from France but her English is really very good.

There are some Facebook pages for au pairs. If you ask her to search online she might find a local group. Mine has joined an online group.

Hi OP. there is a Facebook page called Au pairs in Guildford which your AP can join - our AP made loads of friends very quickly through that.
