nannies and voluntary ofsted registration

Can any nannies tell me - do Ofsted do a CRB check on the nanny at each annual renewal or is it just on the initial registration? Many thanks

Just the initial registration. OFSTED say that they are informed of any changes in a person's suitability to care for children, but the catch there is that only the nanny would be informed that their registration was being revoked and not the employer.
