Two mindees are leaving this week, on good terms. What do you give/do for those leaving? I feel it's a present situation but not entirely sure what!

Would like to make something from me and other mindees too but haven't got a clue...

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I have a mindee leaving me at the end of term to go to secondary school, as a leaving present they will get a fountain pen and a homemade (hopefully) goodluck card.

When my daughter left her childminders the childminder gave her a lovely picture frame with "My Friends" on it with a photo of DD and the other mindees. It was a lovely reminder of the fun she had there.

The other mindees also helped make a lovely card for her.

My daughter also got a couple of photos and a elephant holder for them.

We got the CM a photo album to put her piccies in of her mindees

why don't you look through the Baker Ross catalgue and see what they have to make? You could do one of those mugs and perhaps put a photo of all the children you look after on it?

I use my digital camera all the time and have lots of photos/videos of my mindees that the parents probably haven't ever seen. When they leave, I put all the photos and videos I that I have of the mindee onto a CD, so parents can just look at them, print off, use as a slide show or whatever. (Those mindees that I've had for over 10 years will be getting a library!)

Usually I just give them the things they've been using at my house - their placemat (their own picture, laminated), flannel and diary and any photos.

Sometimes I put a book in as well. I gave one girl a kids cookery book & she came over in the playground a week later with a bag of cookies for us.
