Hi

I'm thinking of registering as a childminder, just wondered if anyone could give advice on best place to look for all the info! Trying to figure out if by home is suitable and what would need to be changed etc.

Thanks x

You will have time to get it all sorted! You now need to complete the cypop5, first aid and safeguarding course before you begin childminding and these can take 6m to 12 m in total! Contact your local council early years team

Look for safety markings on glass. If no marking then it may need to be covered with a plastic film so that if it breaks it stays together better.

Download EYFS documents from the FoundationYears website.

Consider how you will transport several children of different ages.
