I've just had dm of one of my mindees at the door to ask for her dd juice cup which she left here this afternoon. Surely she's got more than one cup ffs!

That's pretty rude.

I have to say, it wouldn't have actually bothered me, but I wouldn't do it to someone else.

Very weird not to have a bloody cupboard full of the sodding things a spare one.

Things would have to be very very dire for me not to have just gone and bought one before bothering the CM for it.

And if she's travelled to get it from you, is it much of a problem to fetch it?

Tbh I don't mind that much, it was washed & sitting in my kitchen. I'm just at the end of a really busy week and at the end of a bottle of well earned bottle of wine and not that keen to have to chat to parents when I'm in my jammies!

Maybe she's at the end of a busy week too, and needing wine, not driving to get something.

Maybe it's her Dds favourite cup and she wouldn't sleep without it.

I would do anything tbh if it meant one of my kids went to bloody sleep.

My DS was obsessed with one particular juice cup.

Nope def not her favourite cup - she's not that bothered what she drinks out of. I'd have taken it to her house when I realised she'd left it if I thought it was something she really needed or wanted.
