Nothing to do with childminding but for those of you who knew about dh loosing his job on xmas eve and our struggle since...............

He went for an interview last night where he is temping (setting up brand new team) and HE GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!! Starts MONDAY!!! Wasn't supposed to start til 31st July but they are so impressed with him, they want him to get to work on this new team asap! It's also £2k more than we thought!

Sorry, just wanted to SHOUT about it as we've had such a tough 6 months!

Wow, thanks guys You know when you get some news and you want to ring everyone and shout about it but you can't get hold of them, they're at work etc. I was just bursting to tell people!!

I can't believe how quiet it is here - baby on hols and other 2 asleep on sofa - what do i do????? I'll go and build the new water table I've just treated them to and surprise them when they wake up

Thanks. A little embarrassed about the water table legs. Went all the way back into town and when she handed them to me, realised that I did have all 6 after all - there was 3 lots of 2 tucked together (well, one inside another)

Anyway, kids happy now and we're having a take away tonight to celebrate so I'm still happy
