Watching eastenders - Know its not real but I was very surprised to see ronnie with lexi.

Any cm giving a child over to a complete stranger would be hauled over the coals via ofsted

Don't want Eastenders these days but in answer to your question, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

No idea about eastenders, but I only hand children over to known people.

If it was an emergency I would at least use a password system but never just hand them over without the parents at least providing a picture.

Not only not hand over to an unknown but you wouldn't take them to the grandparents house when you hadn't been able to contact anyone, you would keep them at yours and keep calling people, esp if not an emergency which she said not to worry just a temp when she left a message on Lola's phone.

Oh Lord, yes! Many's the time the postman or delivery driver has raced up the drive to his van with me and a child hot on his heels:
"Take them, take them!" I scream, but no - they're accelerating off in a cloud of dust. Oh well!

It all takes 2nd place to my drug dealing empire on Johnny Vegas anyway. The kids are just dragged around from pillar to post - you know, we've even popped up on Casualty a couple of times Wink

I did a couple of times! One of the 2 year olds I look after was picked up by his grandmother a couple of times. His mum had told me this was happening, she turned up when she was expected and he ran towards her yelling 'Nanna!'. I didn't think to ask her for photo ID.

Naturally I wouldn't have just handed him over if I hadn't been expecting her.
