Childminders can I pick your brains please?

Have become aware of a childminder who does school pick ups with 2 younger children in tow. She leaves the younger children in the car while she goes along the road and into the school nursery to pick up her son.
I know its a hassle to get 2 little ones out of the car but I wouldn't be happy at my children being left unattended in a car whilst the childminder goes in to collect their child.
Opinions please

I'm a childminder - no way would I do that. I walk the kids to the nursery, park the pram and get baby out when dropping the other 2 off. All the mums leave their kids in the pram whilst they quickly drop off and it's very very safe HOWEVER, I still get baby out, go through the tantrum when strapping back in (as once they are free they never want to go back in ) as I am responsible for them and would never forgive myself if anything happened!

I know childminders who do this too but strictly speaking its not allowed - children should be within sight or sound of the childminder at all times.

i do the same as looneytune.

This is OUTRAGEOUS just the kind of thing that gives childminders a bad name.Any half decent childminder would never even consider leaving the children unattended. As you have witnessed this it is now your duty to report her to OFSTED, who will possibly take her registration away. Good I say there is no place for lazy irresponsible people when they have been trusted with a child's welfare

Its something Ive wondered about because I fully intend to troop all the children into the class with me but no one else seems to. I hate the thought of leaving a baby in the puschair outside the class. I dont do that with my own.

I agree with everyone else very "naughty" of her.I would never ever do that and I'm sure most responsible people would'nt either.
