An impossible dream? 3 day Italian speaking CM/N?

Looking ahead a few months to when I go back to work.

The ideal would be to find a 3 day a week 8-6 Italian-speaking nanny share/Child minder in central London (area flexible, as will have to move soon anyway).

Sadly a sole charge nanny is unaffordable.

Is there any hope?

Would nursery, and an Italian speaking Au-pair be a different route?

I thought au pairs are more usually used for school age kids? I am guessing lots of them would be pretty clueless with a little baby?
