I'm really interested in how your your day is structured ? How many activities a day do you do ?? I try to do 1 to 2 activity a day with other things like going to playgroup, singing, story time, outing....

Thank you !!

Varies massively. Sometimes we're in the forest all day, sometimes we have done 20 different activities by lunchtime and other days have a day long project. Also sometimes each child can be working on different activities.

Yes, it varies here too. During term time I try and make sure each child has been to a playgroup at least once, and done an outdoors activity (park, forest, feeding ducks) at least once. I plan 1 craft activity a week and 1 messy/sensory activity and do baking/cooking regularly. All of this can and does go out of the window though depending on weather and moods of the kids! Other things likes singing/stories/playdoh/garden just kind of happen every day whenever the mood strikes the kids!

In the summer holidays I make a note of what's on where and we try and get out and about as much as possible.

During term time my typical day is:
Breakfast, school run, outing (playgroup, leisure centre play session, bus to library or if the weather's good trip to nature reserve/farm/woods etc), home for a play while I prepare lunch, nap followed by story time then play at home/garden until school run. On the way home we usually stop at the park for a run-around (older ones play football, cricket etc.) & snack there, play at home/garden or sometimes a group craft or they'll all settle into various activities at the table such as playdoh, Hama beads. All of mine leave before tea Grin

During the holidays we do more organised crafts at home, I try & have at least one full day outing a week & I usually let older ones have a DVD & popcorn friday afternoon.
