I've just been offered a job in the city as a nanny/PA, to start begging of September.
However my problem is the hours they are very long they are 7.30 -7.30 with sometimes a one nights babysitting.plus the distance I live in north London. So that means I would be leaving at 6.30 every morning.
The family are wonderful, the job is great.

Help

leaving at 6:30 am if you work in the city is nothing unusual. If you like the job, take it. You'll get used to the early starts.

I agree you'll get used to it but be aware you'll have virtually no life outside work with those hours and that commute....

12hr days are long and an hours commute either way is hard

Would you be happy leaving the house at 6.30am and getting home 8.30pm

Can you stay over when you bs?

You will have no life during the week - so that's something you need to think about

I work slightly more then those hours with the same commute and I would say it's totally worth it for the right job but Mon-Fri you will have no social life!
And try not to fall into bad eating habits like I have-by the time I get home I cba to cook so eat crap or nothing!

Aside from that, I would do it_

Is it five days? I wouldn't, but then I am lazy enjoy my spare time too much.
