CM Club: IF I have Tonsillitis, should I work???

Morning

Really hoping it's not but made a Dr's appointment just in case. Had throat problems recently but this morning, woke up with white bits on one of my tonsil's and it's very painful.

I told baby mindee's mum when she dropped off, as couldn't call to warn her (baby gets dropped off at 6.45am and by the time I knew I had the white bits, they would have left). Other mindee is due shortly and I will take her and ds to school (well, nursery).

Got Dr's at 9.30am so will know soon enough. IF it is Tonsillitis, can I still have the mindees? I feel rough but happy to work but was worried about spreading infection. I'm hoping it can only be caught by kissing etc. because I can avoid all that but just not sure how contagious it is?

Anyone able to advise?

Hi

I had a bad case of tonsilltis last month, went to the drs and he said that it is infectous but due to the incubation period that the mindees would of already been exposed to it so still ok to work.

Thanks. Yes, I have it but she said ok to work if I'm happy to, just need to inform the other mindees parents to make sure they are ok about it :)

How did it go yesterday? Email me if you'd prefer :)
