DS will be a year old when he goes to a childminder. I am meeting with various people (women, a couple and 2 women working togher) and one on my radar is male, anyone have any experiences to share regarding male childcare, I am really drawn to the idea and would love some first hand experiences.

TIA

I dont tbink there are any general comments to make. Visit them all, see what you think of them as individuals.

Visit them all. DH minds with me and the kids love him.

DH is a primary school teacher and my 'assistant' during holidays. I know a few couples who do this together, and one male childminder working alone. He is very good and the parents have very good things to say about him. I wouldn't see a problem with it, visit and see how you feel!

My little boy goes to a childminder whose son is also registered. Kids adore him.
