How much per month/week for an au pair including all costs?

Hello!

Would anyone mind telling me how much an au pair costs them in total? Including car costs, phones, food, utility increases etc? And also the hours the work?

I'm trying to establish if its a viable childcare solution for our family. We're not in London so I don't know how much difference that makes?

Hi Elizaallen, I pay my au pair £80 per week for 25hours of help. I don't pay for phone bills as I call her. I wouldn't know how much food costs but as I'm cooking for a family of 5 already I don't notice much of an increase in the shopping bill when we have an au pair. Hope this helps :)
