Childcare assistant...what do I need to know/do?

I have been offered a post working with my friend who is a CM of many years standing from sept.
I have no childcare quals, other than an OU child psychology course and the usual first aid.
I am assuming I need paed first aid and safeguarding?
I would be doing 3 mornings per week.

Depends if she wants to leave you unsupervised regarding first aid, would be handy anyway but you have to have it if shes going to leave you on your own at all. she needs to fill in an ey2 form to get you crb checked.

I have the form to fill in.
No I will never be alone with the children.
There will only be 6 age 2- 4s
