Pay for live out nanny

Quick question, what is the going (net) rate for a live out nanny, working full time with a 14 month toddler. Sole charge in London. Our old nanny has returned from abroad and is looking for work but unsure of what is reasonable. Thanks

£10ph net is the going rate in London. You should be agreeing on a gross rate though (£10ph net is just under £13ph gross on a normal tax code I think). You can use MrAnchovy's calculator to help you convert the figures here.

My friend pays her nanny £35,000 gross for live-out in SW London. Nanny works 11 hour days. HTH.
