I read that all childminders should have a food hygene cert?? I have one through my current job but do any of you have one? is it necessary?

In my folder of courses to go on the basic food handling course is there...?

I've got one. I'm in a childminding network group and it is something they want us to do. I don't think all minders have to have one (I don't know any who have one apart from the networking minders) although I expect Ofsted would like it.

I have and i am not network, I paid for it myself and now have 3.

hiya, just to let you know that I have a certificate from my previous job and ofsted were happy with it.

:) I'm working as a food demonstrator at present as theres no work in watford at mo, I had to have one for that so hopefully OFSTED will be happy with that one
