They have come in and they are stuck and have said that they want to pay me 20 rather than my usual rate its only for one hour or so once a week. What shall i do,how do i handle this, never had this before. It is only for this term.

I used to do a school run once a week and also got paid £20 a time to do it. Think of it like this, that parent is able to work a full day and probably earn many times more than £20 , because you are willing to go the hassle of picking the child up once a week.

Not many people would do it, and they are paying for reliability, a registered c/m, see it as a profesional service and that gives the parents peace of mind.

I know many taxi firms that pick up children from school and take them to after school clubs, they are nearly always late to pick up the child, they smske in the cabs on the way and never make the child strap themselves in.

The after schoolclub are always asking me if I could pick up yet another child, as some used to arrive half way through the session and miss out.

Accept it graciously!
