Shortest childcare course to be 'approved'?

My neighbour has 20 years childcare experience, has done a recent first-aid course and is CRB checked and wants to become 'approved'.

Anyone know the shortest child-care course she can do on the Surestart 'approved' list?

\link{http://www.mynannynetwork.co.uk/training/childcareapproval.htm\Childcare Approval Induction Course by MyNannyNetwork} I think is the shortest. It is 12 hours, spread over 2 days. They also do a distance learning version which takes 4 weeks. However, you do pay for this quickness, cost is quite high I feel.

Tinies Childcare also offer the ICP over 2 days, so that's another one to consider - and could be used for Childminding in the future.

nannynick - you are an angel - and up early too!

Any news on the rip-off registration for nannies? Did you get a response?

Thanks - the Tinies one looks good, but is not in London. Will pass on the details.

Thanks again
