We got a letter from the Queen today.

Well not the Queen personally, from a lady in wiating.
We (mindees) sent off drawing to the Queen for the Jubilee, and got a letter back today thanking the children and me, for the lovely drawings and letters.

I have photocopied it for each of them, and also stuck one in each of their scrapbooks. The original shall be put up on our noticeboard

The mindees haven't seen it yet, nice surprise for Monda morning

I bet they will love it on Monday, especially the little girl who drew a lovely picture of the queen in a castle with fairies .
The younger boy mindee drew the Queen being eaten by a triceratops!

We did that as well and got our reply a couple of weeks ago. The children were thrilled. I just put The Queen, Buckingham Palace on the envelope.

I was upset with DH for throwing the envelope away.

I received my thank you letter last week-I hope the postman noticed the Buckingham palace post mark!!!!! Do you think we can all put "by royal appointment" now on our paperwork.....?

I still have the letter that the Queen sent to my school when we sent her letters for the Silver Jubilee. Your mindees will love it!
