NCMA response to the Childcare Commission

NCMA has responded to the Childcare Commission and available on their website
Their response is based on a survey which invited c/ms and nannies to input their views...it received 632 replies

As you are aware the Childcare Commission closed 31 August but the Department for Education are still keen to hear c/ms views on it
Meetings are being organized all over the country so that c/ms can have one last opportunity to input their views

In our e-petition we did ask the govt to consult with c/ms and they are doing that through the CCommission and additional meetings in advance of their proposals being published in October

If you are not aware of any meetings in your area you can organize your own, however small and feed back to DfE any views/concerns or ideas
A 'briefing' list is available for those meetings and I am trying to get hold of one but even without it you can express your views

CMs.. please do find out where your local meetings are being held. There are a few meetings set up already in various LAs countrywide.
