HELP!
I currently hate my beast of a Bugaboo Cameleon - its size is ridiculous, it doesn't lift onto pavements or turn one-handed blah blah blah.
So..I bought a Maclaren Triumph (ebay) arghhhh..what the heck is with the harness button (I get finger crunch every time), the brakes are not flipflop friendly, the basket holds a 'pea' literally good luck getting in it, and OMG the recline..my son would actually LIKE to sit totally upright pretty please! Not to mention the worst feature - did Maclaren actually invent a suspension..my son would appreciate not being shaken to sleep ;)

SOOOOO..please help me! I would like something that sits child upright, folds compact, has a good suspension, can take a LARGE child (26lb 10 month old!), has an accessible basket, flip-flop friendly brakes, an easy buckle button!, is totally washable, turns on a 2p piece one-handed. You get my gist, is there a buggy this good out there?? With good reviews?

Your help is immensely appreciated folks..

Bugaboo Bee Plus!
Im sure that after your Chameleon experience, you aren't on good terms with Bugaboo, but I can assure you the the Bee+ will do everything you require it to!

You will get lots of people saying that the seat isn't big enough - but my very tall 4YO could still sit in there (albeit with her head under the hood!).
Basket is brilliant - really big and very accessible.
Folds pretty small.
It reclines really easily, but also has a nice sitting position too - without folding your child in half.
Can't remember if its washable - but you can get really nice buggy liners on eBay that keep it looking brand new, and they are washable.
I would say it probably turns on a 5p piece - it is a Wonder Buggy! Grin

Lol my sister has one..we're like the Bugaboo'ers in our town. I like them but I wasn't sure about my little chunk sitting in it long and how small they fold and lightweight? I was thinking I'd be throwing my next pushchair around and taking it abroad possibly....?

Baby Jogger City Mini Grin

My DD's have been fine in it, and for long trips too.
Look at the super cute liners though - here - they would make it even comfier!
I would say that it is a 'comfy' seat, and also has so many different recline settings that you can sit them back just a little bit so they can stretch out, without lying down IYSWIM?
It does fold down pretty small and is definitely light weight!
I'm not sure a Bee+ would appreciate being thrown around though Grin

Baaby jogger city mini here too!

RoyMum · 07/09/2012 17:18

Is the city mini really that good? i thought it looked big and wouldn't fold small..can baby go from newborn? if needs by. and those wheels look small to have good suspension and nice ride?

An upgraded maclaren model? Look at techno XT or an XLR.

WheelieBinRebel · 08/09/2012 08:31

Yes the city mini is brilliant. It is one handed fold, you literally just pull the fabric strap that goes across the seat. The seat is lie flat so you could pad it out with a sheepskin and/or a footmuff to make it cosy for a newborn. Alternatively you can also get a soft carrycot to go with it.

The wheels are quite robust but I would say that it is more of an urban pushchair, however you can get the GT model which has the all-terrain wheels.

I have a triumph. Bought it to replace my massive phil and reds vibe. DD got used to the slight recline
