School drop offs and pick ups

Hi, does anyone know of childminders/nannies who only do school drop offs and pick ups? I live in north London and need someone to drop and pick up my 2 year old son from nursery in the afternoon for 5 days a week and cant seem to find anyone who is willing to do that. I am a working parent and need to find a way to send my child to school everyday. Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Ask the nursery if they can pass your details on to anyone who already drops off and picks up there. Contact all the CMs even if they don't say they have vacancies. You may find some CMs only offer full day care, but not all.

A nanny will probably be along soon with some ideas to add.

Can you go to your local council - they should have a list of local childminders and an up to date list of available vacancies.
Also, try www.childcare.co.uk or ichild which is linked to the NCMA

The problem will maybe be that they're only 2 so will use an early years place until they start full time school so many childminders won't use a place up for just after nursery unless it fits with another child going home or something. If you ring round you may be lucky or try childcare.co.uk.
