CYPW help re birth trauma affecting the child's development?

I can find loads of info on how birth trauma and assisted deliveries can potentially affect the mother, but am struggling to find anything on how either can affect the baby and their future development, especially things about assisted births. Silkysteps hasn't got the answer, and google and me just don't seem to be clicking on this topic even though I've tried 101 different search terms!

I'm at my wits end here so: anybody have any idea?

Have you tried googling 'neonatal morbidity operative delivery'? That brings up lots of results.

I haven't, I'm not even 100% sure what that means! Grin Thank you though, I will get at it! Just as I was ready to give up for the night ;)

also try neurodevelopmental morbidity and operative delivery - generally though, no greater risk even for babies in v. poor condition.
