Term time only nanny. What have I missed?

Just finalising details for our term time only Nanny, can anyone tell me if I have missed anything?

Agreed £21,660 gross salary

Nanny will be working 40 weeks a year. Plus 25 days paid holiday (including bank holidays) I worked this out using 12.07% calculation to get 4.83 weeks so rounded up to 5 weeks.

Working 9.5 hours per day, so 47.5 hours per week. 2137.5 hours per year averaging as 41.11 hours per week if divided by 52 weeks.

Planning on paying equally throughout year, even though it's a term time only post.

If she left before a complete year or we no longer needed her, then I assume we would just work out what hours she has worked/not worked and adjust her final pay accordingly?

I would put the last bit in the contract personally, i.e. exactly what happens when she leaves as it may well not be the neat end of the school year. Never assume when it comes to contracts [smile ]

I would add in the last bit as well

with holiday are you planning to let her take additional holiday rather than the school hols or are you paying her that holiday as you will need to add that on to your workings out money wise
