I've always used someone I've known before, this time I've advertised on childcare.co site abd havd had some good responses. Should i meet them and see how they are with the kids first before booking them? What questions should i ask? Whats the going eve rate or flat eve eate!

I (babysitter) like to have met on neutral ground (coffee shop, soft play) on the first meeting to discuss/ chat informally. I then will meet at the house interact with children more & discuss rates etc

I currently charge
£8 per hour before midnight for a maximum of 3 children
£9 per hour after midnight for a maximum of 3 children
Additional children are charged at an extra £1 per child per hour
I am a fully qualified nanny with level 3 diploma, crb & 1st aid.

Rates will very much depend on your area - I recommend speaking to other parents to see what they charge

Hope this helps Smile

Ensure your babysitter has a CRB check and possibly a first aid certificate if you have a really little one who can't speak in particular/ask 'what would you do if...' questions
