How to find a french nanny?

Hi, we are looking for a french nanny to look after our 2 children (3 and 5). I find it difficult to get my children to speak french to me (although DH and I are both french). I think it would help to have a french nanny. However, I am not sure how to find a french nanny. I would be so grateful if you could give me any advices you might have (We live in West London).

Thank you.

Try gumtree. Worked for us with our Spanish nanny.

Hi just check on this website - it's an agency specialised in bilingual nannies :) www.littleoneslondon.co.uk/
I'm a french nanny myself and it's a really good agency!

GreatAuPair.com ... lots of French and French-speaking nannies (as well as Au Pairs) on there. Worth paying the registration fee for a month.

We found our live in French nanny at Little Ones. We are an English speaking family and we unable to test the level of French of the nannies we interviewed. The consultants there are French themselves and very knowledgable on the industry so I felt very confident in their advice on selecting a nanny. www.littleoneslondon.co.uk/nannies/bilingual/french-nanny-london/

Try www.ici-londres.com and look in petite annonces under the 'famille' section.
