Was supposed to have my first parent come today for a meeting at 1pm. Looks like a no show and no phone call or anything. And yes silly me forgot to take a contact number so i cant call her. I hope this isnt a taste of things to come :(

Still cant complain too much only been a week registered. Chin up and back to that handy advertising list :)

You've only been registered a week and you should of had your first meeting!!! That's excellent, even though the outcome wasn't

At least you know for next time you get a phone call. It's happened to me a few times and I still forget ot take numbers.

Thanks Jensmum. The meeting was through another childminder 3 doors down from me. Shes very popular so said that she would pass any enquires she couldnt take on to me just luck really :o

I now have a pen and notepad next to the phone with a small list of things i will get from them on that first call like name, hours etc and contact phone number :o

Happened to me on Tuesday - had a meeting with two sets of parents - one set turned up the other didn't - the one that turned up, got the 'place'!

Great though that you had a first meeting booked having only been registered for a week . Good luck for next time .
