I've been looking at getting one of these but not sure if I'll get much use out of it so will watch this to see what others say.

Hi
I use those plastic strips that slide down the side of the paper and hold it together.

I don't have one, but I do use my laminator a lot for childminding stuff.

freshstart · 04/03/2006 22:37

I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally want a laminator

bfcmdr · 05/03/2006 10:49

I got a laminator yesterday from Makro about £16. Can't wait to have a go.

Jensmum · 05/03/2006 15:05

I got my laminator of ebay last week and I've just ordered more pouches it's brilliant

freshstart · 05/03/2006 16:08

What do you actually use the laminator for?

Jensmum · 05/03/2006 16:40

I've lamintated some of my dd's drawing's and some for mt mindees to take home.

I've printed some handwriting sheets so the childen can go over them and then just wipe them off.

I have laminated some favourite games - makes the cards much stronger and tear-proof. Also photos, home-made books, write on/wipe off boards for "what we had for lunch today" and "what are we doing this week", that sort of thing. Also sewing/threading cards etc. You name it really!
