I am moving 45 minutes away, in 3 weeks time. It will be obviously some time before I can get work, is there any income support or job seekers allowance I can claim?

JSA I would think it depends on your NI contributions and if you're married etc. JSA will push you to look for alternative work as well. Sorry I can't be of help, best to speak to the job centre and find out where you stand. Try and advertise on childcare.co.uk, netmums. Good luck!

could you perhaps do some temp nanny or nursery work whilst advertising for new clients??

Temp nanny or maternity position if suitable

Advertise now for next month. Do you have new property already registered/ ready for inspection to take place as soon as you move?

I'd advertise on childcare.co.uk on netmums etc at new address and look for temp nanny positions if they suit you, or ring the job centre to check entitlements for benefits.

It's coming up to school holidays, can you advertise where a 'holiday scheme' might eg local board on netmums, village notice board etc?
