Au pair meetups Manchester/Northwest

I've got a Czech au pair starting later this month. We live in Manchester. Having au paired myself in a former life (and having HATED it) I'm keen to help her get some sort of social life but I'm not sure where to start. The agency I'm using is based in Surrey so can't really asisst. Any-one know of anything or does anyone have any pointers? She's with us for the summer. Any advice gratefully recieved

Hi there - I have an au pair who is looking for some new friends, so I've sent her a link to your post to see if she is interested. I've been trying to find some sort of social network for her to join, but the ones I have found seem to be a bit deserted!
