Morning

This is going to sound really pathetic but I'm annoyed this morning because mindees mum arrived early and I was still having a wash so looked a right state, instead of looking ready to work!

She was only slightly early (should be here at 6.45am but knocked at 6.38am) but at this time of the morning, time is precious and I tend to get up at last min but am always ready to answer the door looking respectable at the right time.

I know it's only 7 mins early but this is only the babies 3rd week (one day a week) and I'm worried this could be a start of things to come.

Hope not!

Sorry, just wanted to moan!!!

Her watch could just be a bit fast - I know I set mine in the car for 5 minutes fast so I'm not late.

Probably worrying over nothing then - just heard so many stories on here recently, I was thinking oh please don't let this be a regular thing! I also hate looking unprofessional and I looked a right state at that point Blush

Never mind, I'll go make a cup of tea and forget about it! (doesn't help that I didn't have much sleep last night - ds with high temp and kept waking up!)

I'll take my grumpy hat off now! Wink

I'd have waited until the right time (by BBC or tim) before opening the door

I've done that before & hid on MN until the right time (not for the first occasion tho' for the 3rd or 4th.....it didn't happen again)

WhAT about if they keep knocking? what do you say then?

helly ds still not well?

HellyBelly · 28/02/2006 09:41

My neighbours would be very annoyed if they kept knocking until I answered! Grin

He's ok in himself at the moment but his temp got up to 102.5 last night and he kept on waking up :( He's off school this morning but still need to go and pick mindee up as I think she's better today.

my 7.15 arrived 7 mins early too. She normally drives but had a lift this morning so I'm hoping its a one off.

This happened to me before with another mum, when I suggested we change the contracts to an earlier start she stopped coming early.
