Hi

I've been seriouslyu thinking becoming a childminder in Lincolnshire for the past 4 years. I have 2 kids (1 at school the other going Sept 2014).

I have no clue where to start looking to get any qualifications etc (i live in France right now).

Can anyone help me with can I live as a single parent of 2 on the wages please?

I understand all the pros and cons of having my youngest at home for the year (about) he will be there, but i am in the finacial pocission that i can make the move (no credit rating in the UK as have lived abroad for 9 years etc) to pay a years rent etc.

Where do I start please?

THank you

Susi

Hi I live in Herts. Not sure what the system is in Lincs.

I know things have changed big time compared to when I started cm in 2008.

Take a look at this website to start with.

www.ncma.org.uk/childminders/become_a_childminder.aspx

All the best in your decision making.

Contact your local information service by your council I have recently registered and moved and both areas were different. I've had to do first aid 12 hour course, cypop5 course and Crb and health checks
