I had 6 children yesterday and today and I am absolutely knackered!
The hardest part was getting up to school each morning because three of them were in a buggy. It might have been a bit easier if I could have fitted everyone in the car but it has been so full-on inbetween school/nursery runs that I'm not sure that being able to drive them everywhere would have made a huge difference!
Two of the mindees are only here for the week so we're not that familiar with eachother which has probably made things more tiring and two of my regulars are quite lively at the best of times
. luckily the older two are 9yrs (one of them is my own ds) and are so good with the little ones.
I have four under 4yrs tomorrow and Friday and am expecting to be in a darkened room by 5pm Friday evening ... possibly with alcohol
.
So, I was wondering if cms regularly have 6 mindees all week? Do you find it exhausting or am I just being a wimp?! I usually have 3 or 4 at a time and find it perfectly manageable...I wonder if it's the combination of ages and the mammoth school run that has made it so difficult.
