Looking for a lovely childminder in Islington

My DS is currently in a nursery at the moment, but he doesn't seem that happy and I am thinking of looking for a childminder.

I am looking for recommendations in the Highbury, Highbury Corner, Upper Street, Angel and EC1 area.

Would prefer someone with a small setting and not too many mindees/afterschoolers.

Hey Bad skiing mum, did u try looking at the Mumsnet thread of childminder vacancies? Do try there and see if there is someone from your area, other wise try other sites online like Findababysitter.com and childcare. All the best!

I know of a great childminder in Arsenal (2 min walk from the tube station) who has 30 years experience as a registered minder and offers vegetarian nourishment for her mindees. I am here for the first time (thanks to a friend who sent me the link to this site!) and I don't know what the protocol is to recommend a service here - should I post the info in this page or send you a private message?
