Ok - I asked all parents to bring labelled suncream and sun hat for their child as summer has finally arrived.
Mindee arrived with no suncream. Not only that, she has asked me to use my own!!! I explained I can't incase the child has an allergic reaction, but what do I do? Need to be out on preschool runs etc later.
Playground parents will judge me if she is sweltering in her jacket just to keep covered!

She will have to wear long sleeves and keep her legs covered and she will have to wait in the shade if there is waiting to be done at pick ups. She will have to drink a lot of water.

I live in Australia and my friend has her dd covered all year round to protect her from the sun. She looks hot but she doesn't burn!

Mind you, the brims on the hats here are massive! Do you know anyone who brought a comedy sombrero back from their holidays.....

My DS is allergic to most brands so we never use it. We cover him up with loose, long-fitting clothes, a hat and we do our best to keep him out of the sun between 11 and 2/3.

I supply my own and ask parents to sign that the brand I use is ok, if not I ask them to supply a small named of their own or I get some, its no big deal a few pounds. Its also easier for me to just have one suncream and not 5 different ones. I also always have a supply of hats and long t shirts as its also my job to keep children safe not just the parents.
This happens every year as soon as the sun shines so best to buy a good quality suncream that is photostable so lasts a couple of years so you've always got some in.

You have to say at the door, have u put in a hat and sun cream?? If not then please can u arrange to either drop some here today or buy to leave at cms house.

Having said that I keep hats and sun cream here as our weather is mad and it's easy to forget.

Thanks for the ideas. Going with lesstalk suggestion of parents to sign allowing me to use my named brand as an emergency back up plan. Prepared letter so parents can sign on collection. Thanks
