Hi, my family and I just moved to Glasgow from the US. I have a 2 yr. old and 5 month old and am looking for a babysitter to help us occassionally thru the week and a playgroup for my toddler. I am considering the gymnastics class at Kelvingrove Leisure Club (we live in West End). Also, I could use a bit of social interaction!!

Thanks Scottishmummy! My husband and I are both from the US so we are completely lost when it comes to all this. We are finding, however, that this is a VERY friendly place. I appreciate your advice and direction.

yes uni cafe is a student classic! many an earnest blether in there as student gets busy with families and students but it's great so is the chippy next door
