Lovely mums,

I am living at NW9 (Northwest London) and looking for a good childminder. Currently I am managing work while looking after my son but finding it becoming more difficult. If you have any childminders to suggest, please let me know.

Thank you.

hey casarina, how old is your son? Try looking for childminders in nw9 here or try Childcare. Search the mumsnet thread here for childminder vacancies as well :) Cheers!

deefin - I have reported your threads

There's a fee for this kind of request - a not unreasonable one - and you will get much further with MN if you go through the proper channels

I?m taking a break during my first year of studying at UCL ? thus I have lots of time available to work for you : ) As a student with abnormally little social life, I am almost always available should you need a babysitter, and provide tuition and homework help at a far lower cost than other private tutors (whilst of course being less intimidating, and more able to relate, to your child).
GCSEs
Maths A, English A, Science ? Triple Award AAA, ICT A, History A, Spanish A*
Statistics A, Religious Education A, Art A*, Citezenship ? Half Award A
A Levels
Biology A, Chemistry A, Maths A
Also ? AS levels in Physics and Further Maths, Extended Project Qualification (AQA) ? Lifestyle Factors Contributing to Cancer
Duke of Edinburgh Award - Bronze level
St John Ambulance Cadets Grand Prior Scheme ? Bronze Badge obtained
I did some tutoring during my gap year, most notably maths tutoring of a home schooled boy who?d had no previous maths teaching. He began school and quickly was selected to learn maths with older children. I have experience babysitting children of various ages, and undertook volunteer work with toddlers at 5 family festivals/holidays (New Wine and Spring Harvest). Over the last few years, I have helped in Sunday school many times, and have run several parties for the children. I've also assisted in GCSE maths lessons, and given lessons to children of ages 10, 13, 15 an 17, and of course I'm CRB checked.
Other activities include visits to an elderly care home, artwork and study at home, helping at the local soup kitchen and substantial fundraising for children in developing countries(organising events, selling snacks etc). I also did some work as ?mother?s help?, giving me further experience with young children, as well as in taking direction, and during my high school years, I undertook some work experience at 2 GP surgeries and at Ealing hospital.
