Ad hoc nannies / childminders

As I am freelance so childcare would be as hap hazard as my work. Just wondering where to start with this. Any help much appreciated.

I'd just ring a few childminders and see what hey say or put a profile in
Childcare.co.uk and see if any reply. Some will offer this kind of space as they may not want to be full all day every day.

I have 4 minded children that I have every day, and Im happy with just them,
Im not taking any more on.
However I do have 2 children that I Ad Hoc for and Im happy to do others if parents need it.

Childminder here and all my mindees are ad hoc.

Great in my situation, I get lots of free time but it wouldnt suit everyone as I can go a couple of weeks with virtually no work.
