In two hours time I will be at an all day interview for this degree, has anyone done this? Has anyone got any advice on how the interview is conducted?
Thanks in advance Smile

I am doing a BA Hons in early childhood but didn't have an interview. I did have to write a personal statement in which I talked about my experience and what I hoped to do in the future, why I enjoy working with children and what my passions are- mine are treating children as individuals and helping children with special needs.
They will want to know that you are going to stay the course and not drop out, that you will take the course seriously and can demonstrate good time management to meet deadlines.
Good luck and let us know how it goes. Tomorrow I have an interview for EYPS so can empathise Smile

I did my BA EY with Open University, so I never had an interview. Just make sure you are clear in your mind about why you want to do it and how you will manage the workload. They might ask how to intend to apply it in practice?

insancerre - I have an EYPS interview coming up, so I would be interested to hear about yours :)

Thanks everyone, it's been my passion for many years So it's all up there, just need to calm down and enjoy selling myself.
Good luck with your EyPS! Smile

Good luck, my interview for EYPS was only a morning; I had an interview (maybe 15 minutes) & had to write about a case study

HSMM. interview went really well and have been told that I have a (unofficial) place on the course starting in September.
I do have to take a mathhs gcse in July, though
But it's all looking good. It was very informal, so felt at ease.
