How to find a cm and what to ask?

So dd has just turned 4 and has got a place in our local primary (very close) and ds is 8 months. I am going back to work at tge end of next month (pt) but am also looking for a new job (ft).

Am thinking a cm might fit better for us now and am wondering how to find one and what I should be asking/looking out for. Currently would need 7:30/8-6pm 2.5 days per week and with the job interviews I've had so far looking at 8-6pm ft potentially.

I'd ask at the school reception as some of the mums may be childminders, then you know who picks up from there. Other childminders may too buy some like me can only pick up from one (rural area) some can do multiple (my friend does 3 in a town that they're close together at different times). Also ask
School they may do a breakfast club or holiday club.

You can try childcare.co.uk (all my clients have come from there). I would ask to sit with them while they are looking after some children, rather than asking particular questions - you'll know more from observation than from interviewing.

Thanks.

I'll try the school. I'll look at the website too. Just don't know anyone round to get recommendations from so observing would be useful.
