Babysitter in Ambleside, Lake District (April 1-7 2012)

Hello All

I apologise in advance if this is not permitted here. I wasn't sure where else to post this.

My son (2.7yo) and I are going to Ambleside in the Lake District (April 1-7). We're staying at The Langdale.

Could any sitter residing there please get in touch with me via PM?

I'll need a Babysitter to care for my son for a couple of hours (3-4) when I have spa treatments scheduled. I'm happy to pay for transport (within the district) if distance is an issue.

Do you mean the Langdale Hotel and Timeshare at Elterwater? There is someone who advertises there as "Lakeland Babysitter". If you ask the staff they'll probably be able to pass on the phone number

Maybe put a profile in childcare.co.uk there may be a childminder who would look after them for you for a few hours if you struggle to get a babysitter.

No problem lakeswimmer, we love the lakes I hope you have a great time - The Glasshouse in Ambleside is nice if you want a meal out.

If it doesn't work out I would also phone the hotel I'm sure they might be able to recommend somebody.
