I asked my early years consultant when the new EYFS was coming out....

and she said any day now. It's supposed to be this month!

She also told me that risk assessments are supposed to be going too

We just had a email from the network asking for names for the risk assessment workshop....... Begger that then

What!!! Even getting in and out of childminders car and terrorist attacks risk assessment! Well I'll be buggered, how will we cope??

I have attended some courses about the new document. It is supposed to go live on March 31st. It will only be available online....
Believe it when I see it!

The new EYFS doesn't become legal until 1st September this year but it is supposed to be released soon for us to read & to get to know in advance of being used. Also it is only going to be available on line with NO hard copies being printed.

Sorry that wasn't very clear was it! I meant the document should be available online on March 31st as badger says it's not statutory until September.
