So what are we all making for Mothers Day?

I've been looking through the Spring Morton Michael, but I'm not really feeling very inspired. After 13 years of nannying I think my brain has gone a bit stale this year.

So can I pick yours

Bracelets, bought loads of beads and string.

We made origami flower cards at toddlers last week too.

With the baby i mind I'm doing a salt dough hand print and he's watching helping make some cupcakes with the older children. We are also making mothers day cards with hand prints on the front and a little verse inside. The toddlers will be making bunches of flowers with scrumpled up tissue paper and pipe cleaners in a vase made of a decorated loo roll holder.

I love crafts :)

Glenn do you have a salt dough recipe I could borrow? never made it before but sounds perfect!

We have made cards with a flower on the front. The petals are finger prints using paint.

We will also be making a peppermint foot soak / scrub using epsom salt, olive oil and peppermint essential oil. (Hope it works out ok!) I think the older ones will like stirring the ingredients up and the little ones will probably dive in with their hands! I've been saving baby food jars to decant the mixture into and then will tie a pretty ribbon around the top.

We've done very simple cards with a heart on the front made out of 2 handprints. Tomorrow we're making some heart cookies! I've gone for simple as it's my first time doing crafty things with other people's kids.
