I am taking 2 charges on a day trip next weekend (g9 and b6) to London. We are going to see Matilda the musical at 2pm and I'd like some ideas of where to eat for an evening meal. Mum will be paying, and cost isn't an issue. I thought about The Rainforest Cafe and Hard Rock Cafe because they are exciting and different and its a special day. Any other ideas of central London restaurants that have child friendly food options? No fussy French cuisine or anything!

Kids special treat is Burger King or Pizza Hut. They are VERY rare treats and the children love going to both, but wanted something a bit more 'special' iyswim.

Ideas welcomed!

Maybe Giraffe?

There is one on the Southbank (not sure if it'd be the closest one):

Maxwells in Covent Garden also do a children's menu. Either there, Sophies or Byron all easily walkable from the theatre too. Otherwise, Belgo, just down the street on Earlham St.
