I've just started it. Done the first task - badly I think.....

I want to, but my LA won't accept it as they make you take their course... boo... good luck with it all. I'm sure you're doing a better job than you think.

I am also doing it, it has taken me 2 weeks to do task 7. been driving me crazy to. Good thing is you can go back and correct any mistakes you make. Also the one task i thought i did really bad on i was pleasantly suprised. :)

Sorry only just got back to you all Internet playing up at home but got the app on my phone now so woooohoooo. Thanks for all the comments it's driving me up the wall I wouldn't mind but I was ready to register and start up and moved area and I had to do this course as it was different in the area I came from and there were no assignments to do lmao

MrsBWB - did you have your pre-reg visit last week? How did you get on? PM me if you feel like it

I've done it.. Told them to stick their 'recommendations' where the sun don't shine.. 4 months I was doing that course after being registered and working already for every task to come back as incomplete.. Its totally irrelevant to childminding and very repetitive.

If you don't have to do it then don't, honestly it is a nightmare

Can you tell I hated the course?

marypoppinsmagic you have mad me giggle reading this. im hating the course and it has nearly gone out the window on many occassions but its got to be in on saturday i wish i had 4 months to do :(

quick question, sorry to jump on the thread ..

ive got the paper work in the post its for level 3 diploma do i still need this to be a childminder . as the course work seems very hard. i don't want to work in a pr-school all i want to do is be a childminder, Do you need all this to childmind ?

It is stressful I only had a month to get mine in I'm just waiting for them to get back to me of how I got on

I am almost at the end of the course and it is so dull. It is very repetitive and lots of it seems to be completely irrelevant.

There have been so many times that I have thought about quitting but as I am almost at the end, I am relieved!

Of course none of the parents that use my setting care less about this course. Me having another certificate doesn't change how well I do my job or how much I love the babies and children in my care

if anyone has passed this course please help me :-( i have submitted my work twice already and even luckily been able to grill my support minder but still have outstanding tasks 7 8 9. and there is no support from ncma at all :-(

vix - don't they tell you what needs to be added? I'm halfway though it, online with the ncma, but haven't submitted anything yet so don't know if it is good enough or not. What have they told you to do with it?

Please help! I'm doing CYPOP 5 and its got to be in by tomorrow, I've got one final question left to do and that's Task 7.1. I have absolutely no I sea what to do and I have one note which says something about a table?! But I have no table and haven't had any reference as to where to find it! Please help guys, I'm nearly bald from pulling my hair out and knowing this one question is left! Ugh!!
